Barbara Pena has been the Director of Finance for AllCare for over 10 years. An expert in billing practices, Barbara coordinates all reimbursement activity for our clinicians and clinics in Los Angles and the San Fernando Valley. Under Barbara's supervision, AllCare maintains a high standard of ethical and accurate billing. Because of this attention to detail, AllCare works well with insurance providers, Medi-Cal, and the local Department of Mental Health. Barbara continues to refine our practices incorporating the latest developments in governmental regulations, diagnostic coding, and electronic claims submissions into daily operations.

Barbara has also been significantly responsible for our Emergency Crisis Teams that blanketed Los Angeles in a safety net of mobile clinicians. With Barbara's assistance, AllCare's crisis teams developed into one of the most respected referral services in emergency mental health for LA County. In crisis situations, there is no one better than Barbara to interface with private and public agencies to facilitate urgent care and hospitalization.
