Clarita Wisnia, PhD
Clinical Director, Advanced Psychological Services
Dr. Clarita Wisnia is the Clinical Director for AllCare's Advanced Psychological Services. Her career has included over 30 years of clinical experience with family and child therapy programs for individuals recovering various forms of trauma and maltreatment. Prior to joining AllCare, Dr. Wisnia worked as a Staff Psychologist at the highly regarded San Fernando Valley Child Guidance Clinic and the Saint John's Child and Family Development Center. Dr. Wisnia was instrumental in setting up one of most respected and successful trauma and child abuse programs in Los Angeles County beginning in 1998. She has maintained a private practice throughout her career.
Dr. Wisnia has published extensively in the areas of early trauma, family violence, parenting, cultural transitions, and cultural competency and she has spoken at conferences throughout the world on this topic. In addition, Dr. Wisnia has served as a guest expert on numerous panels and committees and has served as an expert witness for court trauma cases.
