Evidence Based Practice involves using the most current and most rigorous research to guide clinical practice. As research becomes available that adheres to the most exacting methodology, organizations are able to generate practice guidelines and protocols for specific disorders. In mental health, this has included some but not all of the DSM IV disorders. The three sites below offer free access to these guidelines.
